The B-I-B-L-E, yes that's the book for me

"The B-I-B-L-E, yes that's the book for me" That is first part of the song we sung every Sunday in my Sunday school class and I would say just about every other evangelical church. I am in the process of organizing my home office and go looking at all the Bibles that I have: KJV, NKJV, New Living, New Century, NIV, TNIV Revised Standard, NASB, Message, and a Spanish version. With multiple variations of each version, including study, pocket slim line, leather, hard back, paperback, you get the idea. It’s the second part of the song that got me thinking though, “I stand alone on the Word of God, the B-I-B-L-E”. Do I stand alone? Can anyone stand alone? I wonder how the Holy Spirit feels about an attempt to stand alone. Anyone one that attempts to stand alone is easily knocked down, it is standing together that makes us strong.
